Ohno... I'm back from Batam!! :( Batam was such a nice place. Staying at the Galong sure taught me a lot. Over there, things seems to be slower, and the pace was much slower too. So slow that the time was 1 hour slower than Singapore!
Photobucket

I reached there at Batam time 2pm. And that's my room! My brother and mom didn't come along so it's just me and my dad.

Photobucket
Everything was made out of wood except the needles. That's my dad! Standing at the balcony. I still find it very fascinating to sleep above water.

Photobucket

That's the view from the balcony! I was practising violin there.

Photobucket
Isn't this nice...

Photobucket
That's the roof I face everynight before I sleep! There's one fan. :) But it's still quite warm.

Photobucket
The clear water below.

Photobucket
That's the pathway leading to the dining area and fishing area!

Photobucket
And this is the pathway leading to the nearby islant that is connected. I spent the afternoon practising and exploring the island. :)

Photobucket
Upon my arrival, I was welcomed by the dogs!! I called the white dog infront Milay. It looks so much like milo! And it kept sticking with me. I think she's the mother of some adorable pupies! She's really really brave.

Photobucket
That's me practising carl flesch. It was so horibble sounding that I had to play so softly. Behind me is the island I went to before I started practising.

Photobucket
The one taking a photo of me is Uncle Lincon!! He's the guy who owns the Galong. Great man, great christian. He was really impressed by mendelssohn! And told me I should make my own recording of it. Hehe. That was such a nice thing to say but sadly, I'm not as good as he thinks I am. :(

Photobucket
Trying to use my photography skills. :) The water actually looks quite shiny and the bridge, well, I'm not so scared of it now!! The gaps between each plank are not frightening anymore.

Photobucket
Look how clear the water can get! But sadly, look at what polution has done... There's no choral alive.

Photobucket
Clouds... one of my interest. It's for me to watch and for you to remember. :) Taken from Narnia.
Photobucket
The culumbus cloud mixing around with the statrus cloud. Looks like it's going to rain. :) But didn't. The wind was strong and it blew the clouds away!! Causing lightning at further areas.

Photobucket
My not so godo photography skills. Heeee. But I got better!

Photobucket
The pictures coming up are all taken during the evening, one of the best times to take pictures. You can see how much time I had!

Photobucket
Milay again... always posing for me!

Photobucket
Photobucket
Wow... I like this. Although I never liked Mangroves, the sunlight was awesome. Ze told me she saw a lot of mangroves at pulau ubin too!! But maybe they're not as nice as this! Notice the roots...

Photobucket
Photobucket
Another Galong. Our neighbour. :) His son works at Uncle Lincon's Galong. And apparently, his Galong got robbed 3 times!

Photobucket
That's our Galong!!
Photobucket
Nice hut! I lik the shadow.. still in the evening!

Photobucket
Milay again!

Photobucket
Photography skills coming!

Photobucket
I like to take things that are standing out alone... it tells a lot.

Photobucket
Even this normal leaf is cool!

Photobucket
See... it's lonley and it stands out!! Heee.

Photobucket
Photobucket
I realise that some things stands out when they're alone... so does it mean that leaders have to be alone? But sometimes, things stand out when you look at them in a different way. Hehe. I don't know what I'm saying. But there's an idea.

Photobucket
That's a place that belongs to Uncle Linkon to keep his fresh water fishes! We had to walk in the island to get to this place while being tortured by mosquitoes. But Milay was walking with us too!! Such a nice dog. :)

Photobucket
My photography skills again!

Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
I like this picture. Look very carefully and you can spot the main object!! :)

Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
Walking back... the end of the day is coming! The sun's leaving!

Photobucket
Bye Sun!!!

Photobucket
Next morning.. my dad doing devotions by the sea.. sitting at the edge of the plank.. so cool. It's my favourite spot too! And yeah, I'm learning how to take picture of humans. Seems like plants are easier to take.

Photobucket
Photobucket
Beach!

Photobucket
This is how they get electricity at night. From 6pm-10pm... it's amazing! How they use the wind.. and how dark it can get. But I liked it. :)

Photobucket
That's me!! And see the effect of the wind! This is the place where they catch fishes! The fishes come at night so they do their fishing at 3am. They wait for the fishes to go in the net. I spent my nights here too. Just sit at the edge and do star gazing! If not lightning gazing! See the edges? It's a great place for stress relief! Or just a simple relaxation.

Photobucket
See that corner behind the paint bucket? I was practising there for 1 hour plus. Facing the wind and watching the sun set with mendelssohn. Practising there makes yo uthink that you've been practising for a long time cause you see the sun set with you. Really cool. Once in a lifetime experience!!

Photobucket
Trying to use my dad as a model!!

Photobucket
Photobucket
Flowers... my very first models.

Photobucket
Yup, after taking those pictures on top, went back to the room to practise carl flesch! Couldn't practise out there cause it sounded too horrible. Only Bach and Mendelssohn can be exposed!

Photobucket
Went back to that island again! But this time, the dogs didnt'welcome me. They were too alarmed that the WHOLE gang rang towards me and one of them bit me. :( Very frightening.

Photobucket
Wow.. I like this picture!! I think I brought this seashell back and it's ready to be given to tham huiyu! She should feel honoured!!

Photobucket
Plants again!

Photobucket
Those adorable puppies accompanying my dad and me! I think they're Milay's offspring. Milay's attached to a blackie.

Photobucket
Hehe. Being very thoughtful.

Photobucket
That's Coconut! He was carrying a coconut with him for a long time before he hid it. :)

Photobucket
Shipwreck? Gorgeous.

Photobucket
Awww.... Milay... Really looks like Milo...

Photobucket
Isn't it magnificent? Those dogs looks so cool welcoming the other people. Water and hill as background... wow...

Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
Milay again... always sticking around me and posing for me. :) Aww... She looks great anyway.

Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
Lonely plants. They're nice to take and mean a lot. Look at the waves.

Photobucket
Catching hermit crabs.. Have you seen a hermit crab without a shell? Here's one!! It's trying to take over someone else's shell!! No wonder they're also known as pirate crabs..

Photobucket
My collection! Wanted to bring them back but all of them ran away in the end.. but it's ok! Started getting scared of them too.

Photobucket
Uncle Lincon brought my dad and me with 6 nus university students, 3 boys 3 girls, to another island! And it was low tide.. veryvery low tide. The sand was awesome but the chorals weren't. Those students joined us on the second day. :)

Photobucket
Photobucket
Clear waters... comfortable sand... what a great day it was.

Photobucket
What tree is this?? What fruit is that?? New wonders...

Photobucket
The jetty!

Photobucket
I have no idea what that is. Wonders.. but it's nice to take!

Photobucket
I'm writing something!!

Photobucket
Music of life... Wherever you go, however you go, you hear the music of life.

Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
Lonely stuff.

Photobucket
Interesting formation!

Photobucket
Photobucket
My camera's quite cool right! But I'm hoping for a better one too!

Photobucket
Photobucket
Didn't spend much time swimming but spent much time playing with the send. And I realised that I'm flat footed! Like my cousin. It's interesting.. which means that I don't have to go for NS! But I'm a girl.

Photobucket
My dad and I.

Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
Taking things from different angles..

Photobucket
My dad as a model again! Just can't seem to take a nice picture.

Photobucket
Heee.. that's that!

Photobucket
And it's a good bye. Bye Uncle Lincon!! Uncle Lincon said he will invite me back to play the violin for special VIP if there's a chance!! Hee... this place sure brought memories.. and I'm going to miss this place. SO MUCH. Right now, ahead of me is a nightmare. But I know, I'll get through it. And I look forward to another adventure with nature.. again...

I wish my mom good health too! So that she may be discharged from the hospital as soon as possible. :)

hey diddle diddle
Hey diddle diddle,
The cat and the fiddle,
The cow jumped over the moon.
The little dog laughed to see such fun,
And the dish ran away with the spoon.
